The extra backgrounds come in themes from 5 countries. It's likely we'll see more countries featured in later versions. (Like where the hell is any Asian country?)

Don't miss out on the special edition win-shark wallpaper and the
standard set of Windows 7 wallpapers.
If you are already running Windows 7, you can find these wallpapers in C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT.
Check out Apple's Snow Leopard Wallpapers too!

Posted on 11 May, 2009Just would like to note that these wallpapers are not actually "hidden". It just depends on which region you pick when you set up Windows. I've heard of people switching regions in Windows settings just because they prefer different wallpapers, but as I've mentioned before, it can be fixed with a registry hack, or just get the wallpapers from here!

Posted on 29 October, 2009Am I the first to notice that there are a bunch of duplicated? I've checked the folders and Microsoft has actually put duplicate images in. Just pointing it out is all.

Posted on 25 November, 2009Haha, I just noticed that! It seems that picture with the green field and blue flowers is quite popular appearing twice sometimes in one country's set. I guess it's a way to increase the frequency these photos show up in Windows 7's wallpaper rotation.
